The treehouse is a truly romantic hideaway for two set amongst the trees at the edge of a wood. It is nearly invisible until you start climbing the stairs and, as you weave between the forked trunk of an oak tree, the treehouse slowly unfolds in front of you.

Once up the stairs you will find yourself looking out over and through trees towards the lake. The large verandah is ideal for sitting out on and the treehouse itself incorporates a king size bed, a glorious copper bath as well as a shower and a flushing loo. The whole treehouse is beautifully built and highly insulated and even includes a woodburning stove so you can be snug even in the depths of winter. The kitchen/sitting/dining area includes dishwasher, small cooker, gas hob and fridge. We include WiFi and a DAB clock radio with ipod dock.

The treehouse is fully self-catering. We do provide you with tea, coffee, milk and some breakfast basics as well as some of Linda’s legendary lemon drizzle cake. There is a community shop in the village 300 yards away and a better larger shop in West Harptree 1 mile away. We can get supplies in or receive supermarket deliveries as required.

Guest are also welcome to have a full breakfast in the house at an extra cost.

All bedlinen and towels are provided as well as local Bramley toiletries, made just a few miles away, and we also give you plenty of wood to stoke the fire. There is a chess table, backgammon, cards and some bird and treehouse books. There is pretty good phone signal and limited WiFi – enough for email but not enough to stream movies.

We provide good torches, but it’s a good idea to bring wellies or outdoor boots.

The treehouse is not suitable for children under 12 or pets.

Guests can check in from 3.00pm and checkout time is 10.00am
